Louie Anderson is no stranger to Little Falls! A favorite stop on his busy tour schedule, Louie says “I love Minnesota and it’s always great to play Little Falls! The shows there are always made special by such incredible audiences. Every town should have a Great River Arts in it. My mom would have loved Little Falls!”. Now Louie is back by popular demand as he tours to support his brand new comedy special Big Underwear and his hit book Hey Mom! Stories for My Mother, but You Can Read Them Too. Louie Anderson has won both the primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series and the Critics’ Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for his universally praised performance of Christine Baskets on FX’s Baskets. He has made regular appearances on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Live with Kelly and Ryan, Conan, The View, This Is Not Happening and also Drunk History where he played Winston Churchill on Comedy Central, as well as many surprise cameo appearances in numerous films and specials. His scene stealing performances in the movies Coming to America and Ferris Bueller’s Day Off have made him a favorite on the big screen as well. This fall Louie will be filming the movie Heft based on the best-selling novel by Liz Moore and starring opposite Academy Award winner Renee Zellweger (Chicago the Musical, Bridget Jones Diary) and Owen Teague (It). Now he is back and hitting the stage on this very special tour stop in Little Falls with all new material. Audience members will be delighted to get a rare glimpse of a comedian in his prime up close and personal in one of the most intimate stops on his tour.
Joining Louie onstage is longtime opening act Jason Schommer. Jason is a Little Falls native who has worked in New York on the The Rosie O’Donnell Show.
