Programs Made Possible By...
The programs and operations at Great River Arts are made possible in part by the voters of Minnesota through arts grants, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund. The Minnesota State Arts Board is a state agency that stimulates and encourages the creation, performance, and appreciation of the arts in the state. The Five Wings Arts Council encourages and promotes arts creation, appreciation, and education through grant programs and technical assistance to enhance the quality of life for Minnesota residents in Cass, Crow Wing, Morrison, Todd, and Wadena Counties. Laura Jane Musser Fund was established by the estate of Laura Jane Musser of Little Falls, Minnesota to continue the personal philanthropy which she practiced in her lifetime. As a self-supporting government organization, Sourcewell has over 40 years of dedicated service helping government, education, and nonprofit agencies operate more efficiently through a variety of solutions. Special CARES funding during the global pandemic has been received by the National Endowment for the Arts, Arts Midwest, Minnesota State Arts Board; along with grants from the Morrison County and the City of Little Falls.
Welcome to Great River Arts
Great River Arts (GRA) is where creativity meets community. As a nonprofit organization, GRA has roots in Morrison County dating back to 1975. Although our site (galleries and retail center) is free and open to the public, we couldn't do this work without the support of our valued members, invested sponsors, dedicated volunteers, and the leadership from our board of representatives. As we work through changing times, our goal is to continue to seek ways in which GRA meaningfully serves the community – defined as artists, patrons and creative learners. Especially this month, keep GRA at the heart of the community by becoming a member or making a donation in support of the arts. Our mission speaks of being a "vibrant art hub" by "enriching lives through the arts." So, we hope to see you in our space located in Little Falls' historic downtown district engaged in an art class, listening to a musical performance, taking center stage during a theatre production, or mingling comfortably with an artist during a reception.Learn More
