About the play: The Mavis Garner Bed and Breakfast is not the sort of place you'd find on a freeway or even a map. That's because they get most of the customers from cars disabled when they hit the pothole on Main Street. Scandal-sheet reporter Arthur Lyman decides to do an expose on the pothole "scam" and checks into the bed and breakfast. During his stay he's fined eight times, dragged across town by the local watchdog and fired from his job. What else could he do but fall in love with one of the proprietors! When his boss shows up and takes over the story, he's treated to scenes from Shakespeare, slipshod seances and a witch who can't keep her hexes straight.

Youth Theater
GRA Plans to host Youth Summer Theater Camp in 2025.
Stay tuned for information for our next performance.
Since 2013, Great River Arts (GRA) has coordinated 12 theatre performances - welcoming new and seasoned actors and directors to our stage. Community theatre provides GRA with a visible platform to not only showcase local talent, but to connect in the community as friends, neighbors and family. GRA presents theater through its youth summer camps in addition to its Dinner Theater programming, allowing kids to learn auditioning skills, stage presence, and choreography. We pride ourselves in being a hub for community theater and bringing together local talent, directors, and volunteers together through the performing arts.
Stay connected to our programs by checking back to this page or by signing up (at the bottom of our Home Page) for our email newsletter - with monthly postings about upcoming engagement opportunities.
